The vision

Lone Star Church's vision is to reach, connect, grow, and impact. This includes reaching the lost, connecting believers, growing to. maturity, and impacting the world around us.

REACH.

Lone Star Church, first and foremost, seeks to reach the lost. This is part of fulfilling the Great Commission that Christ gave to His church. In Matthew 18, Jesus commanded the church, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

CONNECT.

Next, Lone Star Church seeks to connect believers with other believers and to connect believer to their divine purpose. Proverbs 27 verse 16 says, "Iron sharpens iron, as one man sharpens another." Again, in First Thessalonians, "Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing." Connection is an essential part of fulfilling  your purpose and being a healthy, thriving part of the body of Christ.

GROW.

Thirdly, grow. Now only does Lone star Church seek to grow the body of Christ but it also seeks to grow each individual believer. First Peter encourages us to, "Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation." Helping its members move toward spiritual maturity is one of the most important parts of the vision of Lone Star.

IMPACT.

Lastly, impact. Lone Star seeks not only to impact northwest Missouri and southern Iowa, but also the world. Part of fulfilling the Great Commission is making an impact on the world that we live in.  There is a hell to shun and a heaven to gain.
